Traveling is about exploring new places, cultures, cuisines, rituals, and styles of living. It is an important part of our life and a great escape from routine. It cures stress, anxiety….blah..blah..blah… Having said all that, traveling is a big part of our life because c’mon, who doesn’t need a break once in a while. You can not only see the beautiful places in the world but also make so many new friends across the globe. How exciting is that?!

As exciting as it may sound, there are a lot of us who always urge to travel but manage to find an excuse in our so-called busy work routine. As our lives are becoming more stressful and demanding, the need for traveling is now more than ever. The Explorester was started to show people the beautiful world around them, which they would otherwise miss, hustling through life.

The best places to visit are not always expensive. It doesn’t always have to be a luxurious holiday in the French countryside; even a getaway from your city or a staycation can be as good and more relaxing in many ways.

What is The Explorester?

The Explorester is a visual blog with a different perspective of exploring a place, in its authentic form, and not the front being put out for the tourists. It gives you your next travel ideas, aims to show you the beautiful places to visit, the best things to do and the best places to stay during your vacation.

The Explorester is about experiencing the place with its culture, food, and off beaten locations just like the locals do. It is your guide for beautiful, unseen, and unheard-of places. And with this, it came to giving Travel Goals for Young India!

How did The Explorester Start?

India is a land of adventures and Explorester was conceived to convey this spirit.

We realized that Young India lacked the awareness of what our country has to offer. From the luxury and hospitality of Rajasthan to the pristine beaches of Andaman, the majestic mountains of Kashmir, and the picturesque Ladakh. The idea of The Explorester was born to show everyone that India, like the rest of the world, has a lot to be explored.

Over time, our love for exploring and traveling took us to over 20 countries and with a different perspective of exploring a place, in its authentic form and not the front they put out for the tourists, we came to giving vacation goals to our followers in India and around the world.

Who are the people behind The Explorester?

Passionate travelers living our lives with the motto -: “ Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not things to show.”

We are strong believers in responsible travel and helping the local communities. We have a soft corner for the wild, a little bit of luxury, and lots of adrenaline. Solo travel isn’t for us. But living out of a suitcase? We don’t mind that at all.

Here is a little more on who we are –

Sneha The Explorester a Traveller & giving Travel Goals in Kashmir

Sneha Agrawal

Growing up in the hills, she craves palm trees and ocean breeze and wishes her life was like an endless summer. As much as she is a dreamer & believer in Santa Claus, she also takes punctuality over seriously. Researching the next travel is her hobby and never leaves a place till she has seen it all.

Manas - The Explorester a Traveller & giving Travel Goals in Finland

Manas Agarwal

An engineer by degree but an adventurer by choice, he is a nature lover, annoyingly perfectionist, and a movie fanatic. His family says – his first (and last) toy was a camera. With an eye for detail he is the more creative one of us two.

We were best friends before we decided to get married and annoy each other for the rest of our lives. The thing we had in common on top of our bucket list was watching the Aurora Borealis dance over our heads and that’s what we did on our honeymoon. We have traveled to over 20 countries and our lives can be summed up as slogging our ass and chasing flights.

Are you full time travellers?

No!

Like being questioned by that annoying aunt at every family gathering, this is one of the most frequently asked questions. We are not full-time travelers. At least as of now! Who knows what surprises us in the next decade.

We love travelling and like every blogger clichés – “Travelling is our passion”. As dreamy as full time travelling sounds, we love the excitement of planning and counting days to our next trip, and wouldn’t sell that feeling for an indefinite vacation.

How do you make money to travel?

Good Question! Now even I’m wondering….. ok just kidding.

We are both entrepreneurs and take hard work very seriously. Do you know what else we take seriously? Savings!! People like to spend on cars, jewelry & fashion, we like to save and spend on that flight ticket.

We believe in putting our eggs in different baskets. We both have our separate businesses; we do brand collaborations, social media campaigns and of course there is Explorester Holidays.

And yes we do have a travel fund which increases with small pennies. We have a few tips for you as well. I will write about it very soon.

We are going to give you tons of travel goals and have lots of fun together!! Till then, stay tuned, keep saving, keep exploring, and Happy Travel!!
