The Explorester is a visual blog with a different perspective of exploring a place, in its authentic form and not the front being put out for the tourists. It gives you your next travel ideas, aims to show you the beautiful places to visit, the best things to do and the best places to stay during your vacation.
The Explorester is about experiencing the place's local culture, food and exploring offbeat locations just like the locals do. It is your guide for beautiful, unseen and unheard of places. And with this, it came to giving travel goals for Young India!
HOW DID IT ALL START?
India is a land of adventures and Explorester was conceived to convey this spirit.
We realized that Young India lacked the awareness of what our country has to offer. From the luxury and hospitality of Rajasthan to the pristine beaches of Andaman, the majestic mountains of Kashmir and the picturesque Ladakh. The idea of The Explorester was born to show everyone that India, like the rest of the world, has a lot to be explored.
Over time, our love for exploring and traveling took us to over 20 countries and with a different perspective of exploring a place, in its authentic form and not the front they put out for the tourists, we came to giving vacation goals to our followers in India and around the world.
WHO ARE WE?
Passionate travelers living our lives with the motto – “Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not things to show.”
We are strong believers in responsible travel and helping the local communities. We have a soft corner for the wild, a little bit of luxury and lots of adrenaline. Solo travel isn’t for us. But living out of a suitcase? We don’t mind that at all.
HERE IS A LITTLE MORE ON WHO WE ARE –
SNEHA AGRAWAL
Growing up in the hills, she craves palm trees and ocean breeze and wishes her life was like an endless summer. As much as she is a dreamer & believer in Santa Claus, she also takes punctuality over seriously. Researching the next travel is her hobby and never leaves a place until she has seen it all.
MANAS AGARWAL
An engineer by degree but an adventurer by choice, he is a nature lover, annoyingly perfectionist and a movie fanatic. His family says – his first (and last) toy was a camera. With an eye for detail, he is the more creative one amongst two of us.
We were best friends before we decided to get married and annoy each other for the rest of our lives. The thing we had in common on top of our bucket list was watching the Aurora Borealis dance over our heads and that’s what we did on our honeymoon.
We are both Entrepreneurs and have traveled to over 20 countries but are NOT looking to become full-time travelers anytime soon. Our lives can be summed up as slogging our asses and chasing flights.
